You must start your enterprise server before you can access your application. You can do this in several ways, but for this tutorial, you'll start your enterprise server from a command prompt so you can see each module loading on the
Server Enterprise Edition Console Daemon.
- To open a
Net Express command prompt,click
Start > All Programs > Micro Focus Studio Enterprise Edition x.x > Compatibility Tools > Net Express Command Prompt
(32-bit).
- Enter
casstart /rAACT.
- Observe the output from the daemon. You should see the message
MFASM support loaded successfully. This means that Assembler is enabled for your enterprise server.
- Return to the
Server Enterprise Edition
Home page. When the server has started successfully, you'll see the word "Started" in green text in the
Status column for your AACT enterprise server.
