To number or renumber lines in source code

To number or renumber the lines in a COBOL source file that is open in the editor:

1. Open a source file in the editor.
2. In the COBOL toolbar, click the down arrow next to the renumber button, , and click either one of the available renumber buttons as necessary.

   If the source code has not been previously numbered, Renumber numbers it.

You can use Undo to revert the changes.

You can configure your preferences for renumber and unnumber from Tools > Options > Text Editor > Micro Focus COBOL > Line Numbering.
