To import a file into a project

Follow these steps to import files into your project:

1. Select your project in COBOL Explorer.
2. Click File > Import.
3. Click File System and click Next.

   You can choose to import files from a remote server and either copy the project into your workspace or refer to it in its existing location.

Alternatively, you can:

• Use the file system or Windows Explorer to copy existing COBOL files into your project folder.
• Link to the source files, rather than importing them into the project. To do this, click File > New > Other > General > File and follow the wizard.
