For each input file, the Data File Converter needs to identify its type and record length. Generally, this information is obtained automatically from either the header in the input file or from a loaded profile (.pro) file. However, some data files do not contain a header, so if you have not created a profile to load the information, you need to specify the file organization and record length manually.
