sftp2 Command Line Utility

Syntax: sftp [options] [user@]host[#port]:source_file [user@]host[#port][:destination_file]

The sftp2 command line utility supports switches that are compatible with the F-Secure implementation of Secure Shell.

note

• Unless you have existing scripts written using the F-Secure sftp2 command line utility, you should use sftp not sftp2.
• Connections made using sftp2 don't use the default client configuration file. These connections use the F-Secure configuration file if it is present.

To view the supported switches, type the following in a command window:

sftp2 -h
