When you run a UTS session, a status line appears in the bottom portion of the session window and displays information about the terminal emulation session:

The status line might also display any of the following information:

SYS MOD |
The session is in system mode. |
NoBp |
The Message Wait beep has been toggled off. |
SYS MSG |
A system message has been received from the host. |
MSGW |
The PC is waiting to receive a message from the host. |
WAIT |
The PC is transmitting data to the host, and the keyboard is locked. |
INS |
The session is in insert mode. |
NOTE:If the PC communicates with the host via TCP/IP, POLL appears in the status line only after you transmit data.
