Using this tab, you can configure fixed tabs or variable tabs.

Click one of the following options:
NOTE:If you click Fixed, you must type a value in the Spacing option. If you click Variable, you must set the specific tab stops on the Tab Column Settings ruler. |
Spacing |
If you selected Fixed as the Tab Type, use the arrow buttons to specify the number of columns between tabs. |
Tab Column Settings |
If you selected Variable as the Tab Type, you can place tab stops on the ruler. |
Clear Tabs |
If you selected Variable as the Tab Type, click this button to remove all variable tab stops from the ruler. NOTE:To clear just one variable tab stop, click it with the mouse. |
To set a tab
If a T27 session is not already open, open one.
From the Options menu, click Settings.
From the Categories list box, click Display.
Click the Tabs tab.

Using the left mouse button, click the location on the ruler where you want to put the tab. You can also use the right arrow or left arrow keys to move the cursor to the desired column, then press the spacebar. |
To clear tabs
If a T27 session is not already open, open one.
From the Options menu, click Settings.
From the Categories list box, click Display.
Click the Tabs tab.
Click Variable.
You can clear tabs only if you select Variable as the Tab Type.
