The following table shows how configuration parameters and other circumstances determine which host application you access using INT1.
If you selected Auto-Connect in the path configuration, the specified host application opens automatically when a terminal emulation or file transfer session that uses that path is opened.
If you cleared Auto-Connect, the host application opens when you press the transmit key or issue a $$OPEN command.

The specified host application opens, using the connection specified for the DEFAULT environment. If no DEFAULT environment exists, you receive a message indicating that terminal access is restricted. To avoid this message, create an environment named DEFAULT. |
