Copying a QuickPad object (one copy)
Open a QuickPad.
Select the object(s) that you want to copy.
Position the cursor anywhere on the object except the handles.
Press and hold down the Ctrl key, hold down the left mouse button, and drag the copy to the desired location.
Release the Ctrl key and the mouse button.
The copy has all the attributes of the original object, except for the label associated with that object (if any). For example, if you copy a button named Transmit, the copy will be the same size and perform the same function, but the label on the button might be Button1.
If you are copying a button, group box, or text object, double-click the copy and type a new label for the object.
Copying a QuickPad object (one copy) using the keyboard
Open a QuickPad.
Select the object that you want to copy.
From the Edit menu, choose Copy.
From the Edit menu, choose Paste.
Drag the copied object to the desired location.
The copy has all the attributes of the original object, except for the label associated with that object (if any). For example, if you copy a button named Transmit, the copy will be the same size and perform the same function, but the label on the button might be Button#.
If you are copying a button, group box, or text object, double-click the copy and type a new label for the object.
Copying a QuickPad object (multiple copies)
Open a QuickPad.
Select the object that you want to copy.
Position the pointer on one of the handles of the object.
Press and hold down the CTRL key, hold down the left mouse button, and drag the handle of the object. The handles disappear, and a dotted square surrounds the object. As you drag the square, it becomes filled with copies of the selected object.
Drag the dotted square until it contains the desired number of copies.
Release the CTRL key and the mouse button. The dotted square disappears, and all the duplicate objects are selected.
