Use this page to assign a shortname to a session for HLLAPI purposes, to select a HLLAPI transport type, and to select a keyboard type different from the one installed.

HLLAPI Shortname text box |
Displays the shortname and the session file assigned to it. You must assign a HLLAPI shortname before you connect to a session, or if you already have session connections, you must exit all sessions and restart the sessions before the HLLAPI shortname settings will take effect. |

Search for a session file to assign to a shortname. |

Remove button |
Select a HLLAPI shortname and remove the session profile associated with it. |

HLLAPI Shortname Associations |
This option allows Administrators to configure HLLAPI sessions once, and have all users on that machine be able to use those sessions, or to have each user configure his or her HLLAPI sessions independently without changing the settings for the other users. Options

HLLAPI Transport Type |
Standard Transport: Select for standard HLLAPI transport type. Enhanced Transport: Select for enhanced HLLAPI transport type. |

Keyboard Type |
Changes the keyboard type from the one selected during the Setup program. |
To remove a session association with a HLLAPI shortname
From the Options menu, choose Global Preferences.
Choose the Advanced tab.
Select a HLLAPI shortname and session profile associated with it.
Choose the Remove button, then choose Apply or OK.
The session profile is no longer associated with that shortname.
