Use the 3270 Printer General page to set host code page options, units of measurement to be used in the printer session, line and page formatting options, and font options.

Settings	Description
Host Code Page	Defines the character display code page used by the host. (IBM 3812 printer switch = c04.)
PC Code Page	Defines the character display code page used by the PC.
Units of Measurement	Provides the choice of displaying measurement units in centimeters or inches.
Inches	Displays units of measurement in inches.
Centimeters	Displays units of measurement in centimeters.
PC Uses OEM Character Set	Enables the PC to use the OEM character set.
Enable Restrike Printing	Also known as "near letter quality," restrike printing enables dot matrix printers to type each character multiple times on the same page.
Print only with Uppercase Characters	Prints all alphabetic characters in uppercase. (IBM 3812 printer switch = c08.)
Suppress Initial Form Feed	Instructs the printer to disregard the first form feed command that it receives with the print job.
Wrap Text at Right Margin	Continues words that exceed the line length onto the next line.
