Sending files to the AS/400

  1. Open the AS/400 File Transfer window and choose Send.

  2. Enter the name of the PC file you are sending. If the file type is data, you must enter a description file (FDF) in the General Settings page (choose the Settings button). If the file type is source, the description file is optional.

  3. Enter a name for the AS/400 file or use the Browse button to locate an existing file.

  4. Choose the name of your AS/400 system from the Host Name list.

  5. From the General Settings page, choose an Action from the list.

  6. Choose the Transfer button to start the file transfer.
