SYSMSG Parameters

Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.

Name

Select an existing field to be the system message field, or select:

*No - Do not display system messages.

*Yes or *SYSMSG - Display messages on last line of the screen if space is available. If the last line is not available, AMB paints a default field in which message appears in the generated screen; this field does not appear on the painted screen.

Row

Type the row number of the system message field. This option is valid only when you set Name to *Yes.

Column

Type the starting column number of the system message field. This option is valid only when you set Name to *Yes. The field length of the system message field can be from 40 to 70 characters, or up to 131 characters for MOD5 screens.
