To define screen attributes
Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.
- In the Screen Painter, double-click on any empty portion of the painted screen. The Screen Parameters dialog box appears showing default values.
- Change the values on this dialog box as necessary and/or do one or more of the following:
- To assign generation options for your DC target, on the menu bar, click
CICS,
DLG, or
IMS.
- To assign IMS commands or values to the MFS PF key fields, on the menu bar, click
IMS. The IMS Generation Parameters dialog box appears. On the menu bar, click
PFkeys.
- To change the MID/MOD order in which the I/O fields from your screen appear in the generated Working-Storage, on the menu bar click
IMS. The IMS Generation Parameters dialog box appears. On the menu bar, click
Reorder.
- To construct trancodes by concatenating screen fields, literals, and PF keys, on the menu bar click
IMS. The IMS Generation Parameters dialog box appears. On the menu bar, click
Trancode.
- To assign Assembler parameters, on the menu bar click
IMS. The IMS Generation Parameters dialog box appears. On the menu bar, click
Assembler.
- To assign a default error message for the screen to display when the end user enters invalid data, on the menu bar click
Edits.
- To assign system message parameters, on the menu bar, click
SYSMSG.
- To define conditions for bypassing input edits for the screen, click
Edits on the menu bar. The Field Edit Message and Attributes dialog box appears. On the menu bar, click
Bypass.
