Timestamp Duration

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

This duration is a DECIMAL(20,6) number that represents an interval of time. In DB2 mode and XDB Modes, the result of subtracting two TIMESTAMP values is a TIMESTAMP duration. The TIMESTAMP duration format yyyyxxddhhmmsszzzzzz defines the years (yyyy), months (xx), days (dd), hours (hh), minutes (mm), seconds (ss), and microseconds (zzzzzz) of the time interval.
