The Options utility permits you to define input and display pictures to be used as the default masks for various types of columns.
Note that once a format has been defined for a data type or a variable, the system will not accept values that are not consistent with or are outside the range defined by the picture. For numeric fields, enter masks to handle the largest values you expect to enter and display.
