To create an AMB project

Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.
  1. With the AppMaster Builder perspective active, click Admin > Project > Create.
  2. Type the administrator password; then click OK.
  3. In the Qualifier field, type the full path to a directory to serve as a parent to contain AppMaster Builder projects.
  4. In the Project field, replace the default text with the name of the project.
  5. In the Group field, replace the default text with the name of a development group.
  6. Click Create. A message appears in the dialog header indicating that the project was created.
  7. Click Exit.
Note:
  • To ensure that your project is configured to your preferences, be sure to set AppMaster Builder preferences.
  • When you create a new project, it does not appear on the Project Explorer immediately if you have another project open at the time. In that case, to see the new project, follow the instructions in To change projects.
