Configuring Servers in a High Availability Group

To configure an iFileshare high availability group, you must:
  • Configure the files to be replicated within the group by enabling advanced recovery logging for the primary iFileshare server.
  • Configure a Fileshare listener for each server within the group. In order for the failover process to seamlessly switch to a standby server, the same name must be used for each listener.

  • Configure the ES_HA_VSAM environment variable for each server within the group. The same value for this variable must be used for each server within the group.

Other regions on your system that are not specified within the group are unaffected by these settings.
