System Tables

You must insert data into two XDB system tables, SYSIBM.SYSLUNAMES and SYSIBM.SYSLOCATIONS on the primary XDB Server in order to use global security. The only system tables that must be modified on the global security server are modified by using the SQL Wizard. Updates can be made to the tables on the primary XDB Server using the SQL Wizard.

Note: When updating system tables, do not change or delete any records that appear blank. These records contain a space character in certain columns and are required to define the locations controlled by your local machine.

You must insert values into columns labeled "required" in order to use global security.
