Installing Subclipse

If you want to use the AWM SVN function package you must install the following software:

The AWM SVN integration is based on Subclipse with JavaHL. Subclipse is not automatically installed with Enterprise Developer because it can conflict with other Eclipse SVN integrations, like Subversion.

Perform the following steps to install Subclipse:

  1. Click Help > Install New Software.

    This opens the Install dialog box.

  2. Click Add.

    This opens the Add Repository dialog box.

  3. In the Location field, type https://subclipse.github.io/updates/
  4. Click Add.
  5. Check the following items:
    • Core SVNKit Library (required)
    • Optional JNA Library (recommended)
    • Subclipse
    • Subclipse - JavaHL n.n
  6. Click Next.

    This displays the items to be installed.

  7. Click Next.

    Review the license and accept the terms.

  8. Click Finish.

    This opens the Trust Authorities dialog box.

  9. Check the appropriate Authority / Update Site.
  10. Click Trust Selected.

    In the Trust Artifacts dialog box, click Trust Selected.

  11. Restart Eclipse when prompted.

After you have installed Subclipse you must install the AWM SVN Integration feature from the MFUpdateSiteED located at %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Micro Focus\Enterprise Developer\installer\files. Installation of the AWM SVN Integration is an option on the installation dialog when installing the AWM Update Site into Enterprise Developer via Eclipse. Click Help > Install New Software.
