Create a Workspace

You need to create a new workspace in which to import the AirportDemo sample and create a unit test project.

Start Eclipse.
The Eclipse Launcher dialog box appears.
In the Workspace field, type c:\UnitDemo, then click OK.
Note: If the dialog box does not appear (because you have elected to load a default workspace each time Eclipse is opened), when the default workspace has loaded, click File > Switch Workspace > Other to display it.

The directory does not need to already exist; it will be created, if required.

The workspace is created and opened using the COBOL perspective.

If the Welcome page is opened, you can close it using the close icon on the Welcome tab.
