Default Configurations File Syntax

The default configurations XML file's root element must always be <defaultConfigurations/>. After that, any configuration type can follow in any order.

To define the default configurations XML file, click File > New > Other. In the New dialog box, click AWM > Default Configurations File.

This adds the XML schema definition to the file, which enables validation and context assist in Eclipse XML editors.
