Client Configuration

Restriction: This topic applies only when a Database Connectors license has been installed via the Micro Focus License Management System.

The following section covers the client setup required before you begin using Database Connectors for DB2 on a new system.

Before you begin, you need to have:

Access to an already installed and configured DB2 database.
Configured any client software (if the server is on a remote machine), and verify a successful connection to the intended database.

You should consult your DB2 documentation for help with these tasks.

Once you have successfully connected to your DB2 database, continue with the Database Connectors-specific configuration.
