FSVIEW Command Line Syntax
FSVIEW Command Line Syntax
The following commands can be entered on an FSVIEW command prompt:
Admin logon
Logs on a user to administer Fileshare.
Admin password
Sets the password for secure commands.
Exit
Exits FSVIEW.
File close
Closes a specific file for all users.
File get-locks
Gets the list of record locks held by Fileshare for a specific file.
File get-users
Gets the list of users accessing a specific file.
Files get
Gets the list of open files.
Help
Displays the list of FSVIEW Command Line commands.
Logfile autorename
Invokes the automatic log file rename on the server.
Logfile rename
Renames the log file.
Opentrace toggle
Toggles the XFH open trace.
Option echo
Sets the echo command option on.
Option no-echo
Sets the echo command option off.
Option no-upcase
Sets the case of filenames to lower case.
Option upcase
Sets the case of filenames to upper case.
Server get
Gets the server information from the connected server.
Server set
Connects to the named server.
Server shutdown
Shuts down the server.
Trace toggle
Toggles the Fileshare trace.
User-file close
Terminates file access for a specific file and user.
User get-files
Gets the list of open files for a specific user.
User logoff
Logs off a user.
Users get
Gets the list of logged-on users.
XFH trace toggle
Toggles the XFH trace.
