To enable your annotation files in the CTF Viewer

1. Click Window > Preferences > Micro Focus > Consolidated Trace Facility > Annotation File Locations.

   Initially, the Location field is populated with the location of the trace files. This location is defined in the MFTRACE_ANNOTATIONS environment variable, which is set automatically in the Visual COBOL command environment from which you start Eclipse.

2. Set the location to point to where your trace files are. You can add multiple locations and retain or remove the default location.
3. Set the order of the trace file locations, so that the first location is used if trace files are found there.

The locations are preserved between Eclipse IDE sessions.
