Delete Service

Restriction: This topic applies only when the Enterprise Server feature is enabled.

Use this page to delete a service and all of its operations. You can also optionally delete the packages associated with the operations.

CAUTION:

Deleting registered services and packages may cause application connection errors and loss of data.

Full Name: Shows the full name of the service, consisting of service namespace, separator and operation name
Service Class: Shows the service class of the service.
Version: Shows the version string of the service. This consists of three elements in decreasing order of significance: major version, minor version, build version.
Listener: Shows the listener associated with the service operation.
Request Handler: Shows the request handler associated with the service operation.
Implementation Package: Shows the implementation package associated with the service operation.
Description (service): Shows a text description of the service operation.
Name: Shows the name of the package associated with the service operation.
IDT: Shows the pathname of the interface definition table (IDT) associated with the service operation.
Description (package): Shows a text description of the package.
Delete associated packages: Check this to delete the packages associated with the service.
Delete: Click this to delete this service, its operations and optionally the associated packages.
