XML FREE TEXT

This statement has the following parameters:

Parameter Description
DocumentPointer The name of a COBOL pointer data item that points to an XML document.

Description

The XML FREE TEXT statement releases the COBOL memory referred to by the COBOL pointer data item specified by the DocumentPointer parameter, which should have a value that has been set by the XML EXPORT TEXT statement or the XML GET TEXT statement.
