Adding Projects to Your Workspace

There are a number of ways to add projects to your workspace. For example:

• Import an existing project.

  To do this, click File > Import, expand General and click Existing Projects into Workspace. Follow the wizard instructions to import the project.

• Create a new project using one of the wizards described in the topic Project Types.
• Convert an existing Net Express project.

  To do this, click File > Import, expand Micro Focus and click Convert NetExpress Projects. This reads a Net Express project file and creates one or more new native COBOL projects with the same settings, referencing the existing source files.

• Create a remote COBOL project based on an existing local COBOL project.

  To do this, click File > Import, expand Micro Focus and click Convert Local Micro Focus Projects to Remote Projects. The new remote COBOL project created this way has the same settings as the local project, and the source is also copied from the local to the remote machine.

• Import an existing remote COBOL project.

  To do this, click File > Import, expand Micro Focus and click Remote COBOL Projects.
