DECLARE STATEMENT

Provided for compatibility with other ESQL SQL dialects, and is accepted but not processed by the OpenESQL preprocessor.

Syntax:

>>---EXEC SQL---DECLARE statement_name---STATEMENT---END-EXEC---->

Parameters:

statement_name A dynamic SQL statement name.

Comments:

In effect, the OpenESQL preprocessor ignores DECLARE STATEMENT.
