EXTENDEDESDS

The EXTENDEDESDS option enables you to create extended ESDS files.

Syntax:

EXTENDEDESDS = { ON } { OFF }

Parameters:

ON
When set, new ESDS files are created as extended ESDS files. An extended ESDS file is not limited to 4GB, and therefore you can use extended relative byte addressing with it.
OFF
When set, new ESDS files are created as standard ESDS files.

Properties:

Default: OFF

Comments:

This option is synonymous with option IDXFORMAT"16".
