To number or renumber lines in source code

The style of the line numbers is specified in Tools > Options > Text Editor > Micro Focus COBOL > Line Numbering, or using the buttons Toggle COBOL line numbering mode and Toggle Standard line numbering mode on the COBOL toolbar.

To number or renumber the lines in a COBOL source file that is open in the editor:

• Right-click the source code in the COBOL editor, and click Renumber.

  If the source code has not been previously numbered, Renumber numbers it.

You can use Undo to revert the changes.
