Deployment Error Messages

The deployment program that deploys services to Enterprise Server writes its messages to a file called deploylog.txt. This file is stored on the server in the directory that contains the COBOL archive file (.car) being installed. This directory is created under the deployment directory (by default named deploy) during deployment. While deployment is in process, Net Express displays the messages in the Deployment Progress window.

The deployment messages begin with a four-digit number. Messages 2000-3999 are warnings; and 4000-onwards are fatal errors. Message 9999 indicates that deployment did not complete successfully.
