To associate a listener with a service

  1. If the table of servers on the Home page is being displayed in summary form, expand it by clicking
    expand button
  2. Click Details in the Services column for the server that owns the service that you want to associate the listener with.
  3. Click Edit in the Operation column of the row containing the service that you want to associate the listener with.
  4. In Available Listeners click the service listener that you want to associate with the service.
  5. Click <-Add.

    The Directory Server associates the listener with the service immediately and redisplays the service table.

  6. If you want to associate another listener with this service, repeat steps 3 through 5.
Note:

A service must always have at least one listener associated with it.
