To export connection settings from the ADO.NET Connection Editor
- From the
Export tab in the ADO.NET Connection Editor, click the connections you want to export, or check
Select all connection names.
- In the
Export to field, type the full path to and filename of an XML file you want to contain exported information, or click
Browse
to select a directory.
Note:
- If you choose to type in the full path and filename, you can name the file anything you want.
- If you choose to browse to select a directory, the Connection Editor uses the default filename
MFconnectInfo.xml. You can overtype the filename with a different name of your choice.
- Click
Export.
- Click
OK to clear the prompt.
