- Ensure that your JCL project is open and that your JCL configured enterprise server is running.
- Associate the enterprise server region with your project.
- Right-click the
.jcl file in
Solution Explorer.
- Click
Submit JCL.
Alternatively, you can submit a JCL file using drag and drop feature as follows:
- Select the
.jcl file in Solution Explorer or, click on it in Windows Explorer outside of Visual Studio.
- Drag the file to Server Explorer and drop it on the JCL configured region.
You can use drag and drop to submit JCL files that are not part of projects associated with the JCL configured server.
