The options you set in the IDE, in
Tools > Options, apply to all COBOL projects.
Text Editor General Options
You set general options for the COBOL text editor in Tools > Options > Text Editor > COBOL, and on the General page.
Text Editor Tabs Options
You specify options for the indents and for the Tab key in the COBOL text editor in the Tools > Options > Text Editor > COBOL, and on the Tabs page.
Text Editor Miscellaneous Options
You can use the settings in Tools > Options > Text Editor > COBOL and on the Miscellaneous page to configure some additional features such as the formatting or some of the tooltips.
