Overview - Debugging Native COBOL Applications Remotely
You can use
Studio Enterprise Edition
to debug programs that are running on a different computer from the one on which you are using to develop COBOL.
To set up remote debugging for native COBOL applications
The local and remote systems must be networked using TCP/IP and the
cobremotedaemon
process must be started.
To debug a native COBOL program running remotely
