The DEDB database data files are input to this function. The DEDB must have an SDEP segment definition. An error message is issued if a Useq function is attempted for any other kind of database.
The SDEP unload cannot be performed for the Remote IMS or User Exit Program Database Catalog types. IMSDBU supports the Useq function for single-user exclusive use databases, shared read-only databases, and shared update Fileshare databases.
The data file containing the SDEP segments. This is a fixed length record sequential file. The LRECL is automatically set to the length of the SDEP segment plus 16 bytes. The LRECL used is written to the detail report file.
The first 8 bytes of the record is a date/time stamp followed by the 8-character SDEP segment name followed by the segment data. The date/time stamp is a 3-byte unsigned packed decimal Julian date field and a 5-byte unsigned packed decimal time field.
