DSECT

Specifies the filename you want to use for the copybook to be created when the .bms file is compiled.

Syntax:

>>--/----DSECT=dsect-name-------------><

Parameters:

dsect-name: The filename you want the copybook to have. The value *member* indicates that the copybook is to use the name of the PDS member for the mapset.

Properties:

Default: The name for the copy book is taken from the label of the DFHMSD macro.
Setting in the IDE:: Check Use DSECT name on the Advanced page and specify the name in the entry field. You can set this directive only for individual .bms files.

Comments:

The filename extension is .cpy if the option selected in the Lang group on the General page of the Mapset properties is COBOL, and .mac if the option selected is ASM.
