To add a Data Source Name (DSN) for the ODBC driver for SQL Option
- Click
Start > All Programs > Micro Focus Studio Enterprise Edition x.x> ODBC Connection Tools > ODBC Data Source Administrator.
- On the System DSN tab, click
Add.
- Select
Micro Focus XDB for Studio 6.0, from the list of ODBC drivers.
- Click
Finish.
- Configure the DSN by filling in the following fields:
- Data Source Name - Any name you choose.
- XDB Path – Accept the default of
%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Micro Focus\Studio Enterprise Edition x.x\mfsql\cfg.
- Connection – Choose between local and remote. If you choose remote, specify the
IpAddress and
TcpPort of your XDB server.
- Server – The name of your XDB Server.
- Location – The XDB location you want to use.
- User ID – The XDB userid to use when connecting with this data source.
- Current SQLID – The authorization ID to use when connecting with this data source (optional). If you don't specify an SQLID, the UserID is used.
- Click
OK to close the ODBC Driver Setup window.
- Click
OK to close the ODBC Data Source Administrator.
