Project Templates

We provide two Visual Studio project templates you can use when migrating a DB2 application to run on Windows and access a SQL Server Database. They are:

• HCOSS (CICS) Mainframe Subsystem Application template - Use this template for migrating a CICS, JCL or IMS HCOSS application that runs under Micro Focus Enterprise Server.
• HCOSS Application Managed template - Use this template for standalone applications that run directly on Windows.

Most properties in these templates are set for you to provide optimal performance. The templates also come with a pre-configured bind script file.
