Integration of the Interface Mapping Toolset with the Visual Studio 2008 IDE is provided.
Features include:
- Seamless integration with the Visual Studio IDE - Enables you to extend and modernize the COBOL applications developed in Visual Studio from within the same IDE.
- An ability to create and maintain Service Interfaces for COBOL programs, CICS screen-based and COMMAREA programs and IMS screen programs using the Visual Studio 2008 IDE.
Note: Default mappings for COBOL program Service Interfaces created in Visual Studio will result in only input mappings being created. The behavior for default mappings created with the Interface Mapping Toolkit in Net Express has not changed.
