IMS Control

Use this page to start message processing regions (MPRs) and perform a number of other IMS-related administration functions for this server.

Commands
/dis TRAN all

Click this to execute a /dis TRAN all command. The results are displayed below the entry field.

/dis USER all

Click this to execute a /dis USER all command. The results are displayed below the entry field.

/dis DB all

Click this to execute a /dis DB all command. The results are displayed below the entry field.

/dump TM

Click this to execute a /dump TM command. The results are displayed below the entry field.

Enter

Click this to execute the command specified in the entry field to the right. The results are displayed below the entry field.

Start IMS MPRs (Message Processing Regions)
Start
Click this to start a message processing region.
MPR Classes

Specify the transaction classes that can run in the message processing region.

Debug

Click this if you want to debug the IMS transactions that will run in this message processing region.

Renew MFS Formats and IMS ACBs
Renew
Click this to delete information from the system cache and to reload the current information from disk.
MFS Formats
Select this to delete information on MFS format blocks.
ACBs
Select this to delete information on application control blocks

TM System Overview and Control
Transaction Threshold
Specify the maximum length of time in seconds that a transaction can run before a message is logged to the console to indicate that it has exceeded its threshold. This must be in the range 0 through 65535. A value of 0 indicates that there is no threshold.
Keypoint Frequency
Specify how many thread requests are to be processed before a keypoint is generated. This must be in the range 0 through 65535. The default is 64. Specifying 0 indicates that keypoints are only generated when the enterprise server starts and shuts down.

Display summary overview of IMS Message Queues
Click this to view the content of the IMS message queue.
Display block-number/segment of message queue

Click this to view a specified segment of the IMS message queue.
