Ensure that your network environment meets the requirements in this section for accessing and using the PlateSpin Transformation Manager Web Interface.
Access to features is role-based. You must have a PTM user account and be assigned to a role with permissions for your project. A user with the PTM System Administrator role or a member of the Administrators group can create PTM users and assign roles to them. See Managing Users
in the PTM 2019.2 Administrator Guide.
A Project Manager can also create users and assign them to roles in their project. See Roles
in the PTM 2019.2 Administrator Guide.
PlateSpin Transformation Manager provides the following roles for managing your project:

Dashboard Viewer |
The Dashboard Viewers are stakeholders who want to observe the progress and metrics for projects. |
Ensure that you open the ports on your computer firewall and in any firewalls in your network between the PlateSpin Server and the computers you use to access the Web Interface.
NOTE:For remote communications, Micro Focus recommends that you use the secure port and SSL options for accessing the Web Interface.

You can access the PlateSpin Transformation Manager Web Interface using any of the following supported browsers:

NOTE:You must enable JavaScript (Active Scripting) and the TLS 1.2 protocol in your web browser.
The default session timeout occurs after 30 minutes of user inactivity. The timeout interval is configurable with a global setting on the PlateSpin Transformation Manager Appliance. Contact your System Administrator if you would like to specify a shorter or longer interval. See Web Interface Session Timeout
