2.3.1 Enhancements From Ideas Portal

As in earlier releases, we will continue to implement enhancements from the ideas portal in the upcoming versions.

Multiple Licenses

The license page is enhanced to upload multiple licenses. For more information, see License.

Auto Clearing a Printer Queue

A new feature is introduced to reduce paper and ink wastage by avoiding printing of stale jobs. Do you face paper wastage when a printer is under maintenance, offline, or when a paper is jammed? We have a solution to delete such pending jobs without intervention from the users. For more information to configure this option, see Auto Clearing a Printer Queue.

2.3.2 Directory Servers

LDAP import is rearchitected and enhanced for better performance when synchronizing the user information to the iPrint Appliance.

2.3.3 Local Renderer

A new local renderer (KeyView) is available with iPrint Appliance 4.1. KeyView supports high-fidelity and nonnative viewing and printing capabilities. It supports over 1000 files formats and performs faster than competing technologies.

2.3.4 Controlled Secure Printer Visibility in Mobile App

The iPrint Mobile app leverages the ACLs set in iManager for secure printers. This limits the visibility of secure printers to set of users.
