Using this dialog box, you can specify the way that displayed data is stored in a PC file.

Type the name of the PC file that will hold the data displayed on the screen, or click the name of an existing file in the list box. |

Click the type of PC file that will hold the data:

Click the folder where you want to store the PC file. |

Click the drive where you want to store the PC file. |
Characters |
Select this option to save the text on the page. If you clear this option, the text will not be saved. |
FCCs |
Select this option to save the FCCs on the page. If you clear this option, the FCCs will not be saved. NOTE:You can select this option only if you selected Binary Files (*.SDB) from the List Files Of Type list box. |
Emphasis |
Select this option to save emphasis attributes, such as underscore and strikethrough. If you clear this option, the emphasis attributes will not be saved. |
Append |
Select this option to add the page to the end of the data in an existing file. If you clear this option, the new page overwrites any data in the file. If you are saving the page to a new file, selecting or clearing this option has no effect. |
To save a page to a file
If a UTS session is not already open, open one.
If the session is not currently connected to a host, click on the toolbar.
Press PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN to display the desired page.
Click on the toolbar.
Complete the Page to File dialog box.
To display a page from a PC file
If a UTS session is not already open, open one.
If the session is not currently connected to a host, click on the toolbar.
Make sure that the session is configured to use the same number of columns and rows as the saved page that you want to display. Otherwise, some data in the file might not appear, or might be formatted differently.To verify these settings, click Settings from the Options menu, click Display from the Categories list box, and then click the Display tab.
Click on the toolbar.
Complete the File to Page dialog box.The first page of the file appears on the screen.
To view subsequent pages of the file, press CTRL+SHIFT+PAGE DOWN.
NOTE:If you are using a keyboard map other than PEPWIN.EKM, press the keystroke associated with the PageDownFile command.
Once you display a subsequent page, you cannot return to the previous page. To display previous pages, you must repeat steps 3 through 5.
