Using this tab, you can specify various commands required for communicating with MAPPER during a file transfer.
When you transfer files, the MAPPER file transfer protocol either sends the specified commands to MAPPER or interprets the commands received from MAPPER.
You will need to change the defaults if you are using a version of MAPPER whose user interface or commands have been translated from English into another language.

To specify the end report indicator for MAPPER file transfers
If a UTS session is not already open, open one.
Make sure MAPPER is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.
From the Options menu, click Settings.
From the Categories list box, click File Transfer.
In the End Report text box, type the text that appears at the end of a MAPPER report.
If you are not sure what to type, contact your host system administrator.
To specify the page identifier for MAPPER file transfers
If a UTS session is not already open, open one.
Make sure MAPPER is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.
From the Options menu, click Settings.
From the Categories list box, click File Transfer.
In the Page Identifier text box, type the text string that identifies the display as a MAPPER report page.

To specify the shift command for MAPPER file transfers
If a UTS session is not already open, open one.
Make sure MAPPER is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.

From the Options menu, click Settings.
From the Categories list box, click File Transfer.
In the Response text box, type the title of the Line Zero Information page.

To specify the MAPPER command code for MAPPER file transfers
If a UTS session is not already open, open one.
Make sure MAPPER is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.
From the Options menu, click Settings.
From the Categories list box, click File Transfer.
In the Command Code text box, type the MAPPER command code that precedes a MAPPER command (such as the commands to add or delete lines).
To specify the look switch command for MAPPER file transfers
If a UTS session is not already open, open one.
Make sure MAPPER is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.
From the Options menu, click Settings.
From the Categories list box, click File Transfer.
In the Look Switch text box, type the command used to switch between the old MAPPER look (MAPPER 34) and the new MAPPER look (MAPPER 35).

To specify the no file in RID message for MAPPER file transfers
If a UTS session is not already open, open one.
Make sure MAPPER is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.
From the Options menu, click Settings.
From the Categories list box, click File Transfer.
In the RID Not Found Message text box, type the MAPPER message that appears when you try to open a MAPPER report using an invalid number.

To specify how to handle headers for MAPPER file transfers
If a UTS session is not already open, open one.
Make sure MAPPER is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.
From the Options menu, click Settings.

To send a file using the MAPPER file transfer protocol
If a UTS session is not already open, open one.
Make sure MAPPER is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.
If the session is not currently connected to a host, click on the toolbar.
Log on to MAPPER.
Do one of the following:
Click on the toolbar.
From the Tools menu, click Send File.
Complete the MAPPER Send File dialog box.
NOTE:The format of the PC file must match the format of the MAPPER report. For example, you cannot upload a 256-column PC file into a MAPPER report that supports only 132 columns.
Likewise, you cannot upload a file that was downloaded from one drawer into another drawer. For example, you cannot download a file from drawer A and upload it into drawer B.
Click Transfer.
As the file transfer progresses, the status line displays the message Transferred - x of x lines. This message indicates how many of the total number of lines have been transferred. For example, the status line might display Transferred - 250 of 300 lines.
