Action Tab

By double-clicking the bitmap button, or, a button you can specify the action that this button should perform and the bitmap to appear on it.

Options	Description
Category	From the Category list box, click the name of the menu or other category that contains the action to perform.
Commands	From the Commands list box, click the action that this button should perform. Depending on which action you click, the dialog box might prompt you for additional information. For example, if you click Send Keystrokes, you must specify which keystrokes to send.
Description	Enter a brief description of the action.
Customize	This button launches the Select Bitmap dialog box.

Action Tab Help

Use this dialog box to specify which action to perform. First, select the desired Category, and then select the Command. Some commands require additional selections or entries.

If an action listed here does not appear in the Commands list box, it might not be supported by your emulator, or security for the action might be enabled.

Category	Command	Function
File	Capture	Begin or stop capturing buffers sent from the host. If a capture is not in progress, this command initiates it. If a capture is in progress, this command ends it.
	If Show Capture Dialog When Start Capture is selected on the Global Preferences dialog box, the Capture dialog box appears when you invoke this command, and the capture begins when you click OK on this dialog box. If this option is cleared, the Capture dialog box does not appear, and the capture begins immediately when you invoke this command, using the current configuration settings.

File	New Session	Run the New Session Wizard so that you can create a new session
File	Open Layout	Display the Open Layout dialog box so that you can select the layout file to open

File	Print Screen	Display the Print dialog box so that you can print the current screen or the selected text on the screen

Tools	Go To Specific URL	Go to the specified URL. When you click this command, you are prompted to type or click the name of the URL to access.
Tools	Learn CASL Macro	Begin recording a CASL macro.
Tools	Macro Editor	Display Macro Editor window.
Tools	Page Settings	Display the Page Settings dialog box so that you can rename, preview, assign settings, and perform other tasks related to recorded host screens.
Tools	Record Pages	Begin recording host screens.
Tools	Run CASL Macro Script	Display the CASL Macro dialog box so that you can run, edit, or create a CASL macro.
Tools	Start/Stop Blind Key Programming	Start or stop blind key programming. If blind key programming is not in progress, this command initiates it. If blind key programming is in progress, this command ends it.
Tools	Trace	Trace a CASL macro. If you initiate this action after you run the macro, tracing begins at the point at which it was initiated. If you initiate this action before you run the macro, tracing begins when you run the macro.
Tools	Receive File	Display the Receive File dialog box so that you can download a file using the currently selected file transfer protocol.
Tools	Send File	Display the Send File dialog box so that you can upload a file using the currently selected file transfer protocol.
