TTY External-Interface Configuration
When you configure a path containing the TTY External Interface Library, you must provide information about the communication port for the connection.

Select the hardware port to use: COM1, COM2, COM3, or COM4.
Stop bits
Select 1, 1.5, or 2 stop bits. The default is 1.

Select even, odd, mark, space, or no parity. Even is the default.
Baud rate
Enter the baud rate of the communications device. The default is 9600.
Handshake
Select the handshaking method of your TTY data communications line. Hardware provides DTR flow control, Software provides XON/XOFF flow control, and None does not provide flow control. Software handshaking is the default.

Select the number of data bits. This can be from 4 to 8; the default is 7.
DTR on exit
Select the desired state of the DTR line when the session closes. This can remain the Same, or it can be Enabled or Disabled. The default is Same.
Enable autodial...
If you have a Hayes-compatible modem attached to your COM port, you may enable Autodial by checking the Enable Autodial box. If an autodial string is already configured for the path it will be enabled. If no autodial string has been configured, a dialog box will appear enabling you to provide an autodial command string. See Configuring Autodial for information on configuring autodial strings.
Choose OK to complete the configuration. Choose Cancel to ignore your changes.
