Asian .TBL File Guidelines

If the country specified in the regional settings in the Windows Control Panel is in Asia, the translation tables listed below are installed.

This table provides some guidelines for selecting the appropriate Asian translation table; the selection you make depends on your site-specific needs.

The name of each file indicates what type of systems are involved. For example, if you are using 5550 on the host and BIG5 on the PC, you would use 5550BIG5.TBL for host-to-PC translation, and BIG55550.TBL for PC-to-host translation.
